Bowdoin College Chapel and House Island Maine Wedding with Corey + Phil

It was hard to picture how this wedding day would feel. The night before, we were there for their rehearsal dinner in Portland, but it was nothing like what we got to experience for their wedding. It was a marathon from the moment we started until we left at the end of the evening. To prepare you for what you are about to see, you need to know that we had quite the itinerary thanks to the imagination and tenacity of this family. First we met at the Harbor Hotel in Portland. Next we rode in our limo up Interstate 295 to Bowdoin College, where Corey and Phil met in college. It was here in the college chapel that they had their small ceremony with under 20 people as witnesses. The wind kissed us all as we tried to take formal photos in the blustery afternoon. Following this, we rode the limo back down to Portland, while some of us even snagged a few Zzzz’s. We hopped outta the limo and walked into a marina, where a boat was waiting to take us across the whitecaps to House Island. It was on the island we had cocktail hour, complete with delicious drinks and food, long walks, selfies, corn hole, and the vibe that we all want at a Maine wedding. Then it was back across the Casco Bay, boat dance party on the way. We disembarked and headed over to Twelve for dinner. It was… fabulous.
