Broadturn Farm Wedding: Katie and Dan

This was the day Hurricane Lee made landfall in Maine. The walls of the barn were wobbling as they said yes to marriage. I thought that was pretty cool.

Its been a few years since Katie and Dan were married. I was working on our blog today and realized that I really had more to say about these two and this day and this wedding. Hindsight can make photos mean more and feel more. I really believe that the photographs we take are cool to start, but become important years later. Not just for sad things happening, but also for good. Since their wedding Katie gave birth to that baby boy she was carrying on her wedding day. I see updates on instagram and Im always touched to know that I knew him when he wasnt even born yet! He was there with us though. He was at the party too. Since then I have even had late night conversations and lots of laughs with Katie. She and MY Dan cross paths with each other in the medical world here in Maine. There are so many touch points in our life that they have connected with us. Its one of those special things about Maine. We are all here together and we all really love this place.
So the hurricane couple is still a joy.
