Hudson River Valley Bengali Rehearsal Dinner: Parker and Inaya

Parker and Inaya’s Rehearsal Dinner was the first event of our 2025 wedding season. We traveled to Poughkeepsie NY, across the river from the venue, Buttermilk Falls Inn and Spa. This was their rehearsal dinner, but it included a lot of Bengali traditions as well, like The Gaye Holud. The colors and sounds and smells were vibrant. It was an evening drenched in color and excited energy. My favorite part of the night was when a band performed for everyone. We all sat down and enjoyed the music, some of us sitting on the floor and others in chairs. It felt very intimate and bonding. We were excited to see what the following day would hold.
