Tyler Arboretum Wedding: Hannah and April

Hannah and April’s wedding was quite possibly the perfect wedding for us to start our 2023 wedding season with. After the hardest winter in our personal history, to reemerge into our work world with an event like this was more than I could have asked for. The last thing we heard Carlie + Luisa say at the end of their wedding (our last of 2022) was “We love you.” To begin this new season with “you feel like family,” well… tell me what is more welcoming than that.

Meet Hannah and April. I wish you could meet them in real life. I feel really lucky I know them.

Also… I met Hannah 13 years ago while photographing her sister’s wedding with my late mentor Tracy Turpen. I guess we are a kind of family now.
