Elopement in Acadia with Josh + Ami

Acadia is a destination for a lot of Americans. Its one of the few East Coast National Parks and the ONLY National Park in New England. This means that its also a huge destination wedding and elopement place. We have been able to meet people from so many US states in this way. Josh and Ami are among our very limited Nebraska clients. They came with stickers and pins from their great state to share with us, something that speaks to my collecting heart. Next we talked about Stardew Valley and our deep love of gaming. Nebraska represent y’all!

The ceremony was short but touching. I could see the love in thier eyes and tears. They had found thier lobster in one another… and had to honor that in Maine. They also had one of our favorite officiants, Adam, by thier side. It was a banner day I tell you.

After thier tiny sweet ceremony, we climbed around on the rocks and then headed to a little trail I like, Jordan Pond, and the summit of Caddilac! Dan and I had a minor panic when we pulled up to the gate of the mountain and realized we had forgotten to book our summit time slot for ourselves. The saint at counter let us pass through, which they absolutely did not have to do. After the wedding I made Dan pull back around and thank him 1000x over for his kindness. He was the real wedding MVP for this one.
