Wolfeboro New Hampshire Lakeside Wedding with Hallie + Ian

Hallie met Dan and I long before we were married. She met us at Elon University, where my little sister was moving in as a Freshman… just like she was doing herself. Its been 20 years and a lot has happened since then. Not only has my sister been married for atleast 10 years, another suitemate of these two had us as her wedding photographers too. Can you even believe that?

When Hallie and Ian reached out to us for thier wedding, we were both over the moon. I remembered her spirit and was excited to see how she would throw a wedding. I was also really excited to meet Ian, her love. (He’s the best too). They wanted to have thier wedding outside at a very special place for her family for generations. We even photographed their privte vows on the dock at the Heritage camp. It was a day packed with meaning.

There were a lot of significant moments that I could elaborate on here, like the music and the dancing and the food and the friends and all the beauty that Mindy of Private Weddings and Events made happen. The standout moment for me was when Hallie decided that no matter what, she was going to have her ceremony outside… during a tornado warning. The weather was turning and everyone was staged inside for a back-up plan ceremony location. When we arrived Hallie stuck to her guns and said everybody needed to get back outside so she could have her outdoor ceremony. It happened. It rained. It was Phenomenal.
