Autumn at Frenchs Point with Anna and Jamey

Style and soul.

That’s what we remember about Anna and Jamey’s autumn french’s point wedding. What an epic way to end our 2025 season. Let me tell you about it.

We met these two at French’s Point, which is a huge and sweeping property with views for days of the Penobscot. A handsome smiling man came up to us in an evergreen tuxedo and introduced himself to us. We were both stoked immediately. A huge smile? Fashion forward? Yup we are going to have a good day. We parted ways while everyone else got ready to the sweet tunes of “Garbage” as you can see on the tv in the first image. Jamey was already 100% ready for the ceremony of course.

At their first look, Jamey gave Anna a crucifix to honor their Catholic faith, and their intentions for their future. Before we knew the significance of the gift, and right before they saw one another, Dan and I both made vampire jokes. Thankfully Jamey is a good sport. It definitely could have been a very awkward moment otherwise. They chose to have private vows in the gazebo before the ceremony. It is special to us as well bcause we didnt know it then, but that would be the last time we would see the FP Gazebo. I hear its since been removed. It was also the peak of autumn leaves so every single place we looked was exploding with color. It was as if the green of the wedding party was chosen to match the earth, or maybe just Anna’s eyes.

The ceremony was joyous, and it was followed immediately by cocktails and treats. During the toasts, there were props, and laughter, and tears. Stories of frinds who had passed and childhoods of theater and fun. The party didnt stop till long after we left.
