Oxbow Brewing Wedding with Lauren and Evan
The first wedding of our 2026 season was with Lauren and Evan at Oxbow Brewing on Washington Ave in Portland. Having watched film premieres and gathered with friends in the Oxbow space ourselves, we were excited to see how they threw a wedding. It did not disappoint.
We met Lauren and Evan at a downtown hotel where they both got ready in the same room, just an hour apart. Soon we were all together at the brewery and it was time for the ceremony. I felt like I knew Lauren and Evan better after their ceremony, with a poem from Evan’s dad and a loved one as the officiant. There was so much kindness and joy and love surrounding them I was assured that they were people that were ready to marry each other, whole and complete apart and better together. After the ceremony, we went outside in the slight chill for a few family photos, and then it was simply a wedding of tasty brews, delish food, and reconnecting. After the calm, the light show started and the dance party erupted. It was fun, let me tell you.
